I have an insatiable appetite for life; an unquenchable thirst for new experience. People, places, yoga and great food bring me pleasure.
I am a yogi, a wellbeing coach, a writer, an adventurer, a foodie and a chef. And my mission in life is to inspire and heal others through love and laughter and lovely, nutritious food.
I have practiced yoga for roughly 13 years. 10 years of which I spent working in busy advertising agencies, mostly in London, where I was always tired – always supremely stressed – trying to quietly ignore the gnawing feeling inside that I was missing something.
As an antidote I tried to live my fastest, fullest life believing that would bring fulfilment. I partied with passion, played with purpose, avidly pursued my career, traversed the planes of the globe and always thought I had something to prove. I was looking for that one thing that would make everything else make sense.
But by 27 burn out and Chronic Fatigue replaced the sense of satisfaction I’d hoped to find and I knew things had to change.
A little lost and a lot scared I turned back to yoga. It made me feel more alive than anything else could and illuminated the path ahead. It had such a staggeringly profound influence on my health, happiness and wellbeing I changed my entire life so I could share it with you!

‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.’
-Marianne Williamson, Author-
I did my first yoga teacher training in 2008 with Paul Dallaghan, in Thailand; a powerful induction into the spectacular beauty of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system and completed my advance teacher training in India in 2012-2013. I am recognised as a 500hr + Yoga teacher by the Yoga Alliance, however (to quote the cliché) I will always be a student first and a teacher second; true wisdom really does comes from experience and maturity in practice.
In 2012 I finally cut all ties to my old corporate, city life in pursuit of something else trusting deeply I would be drawn to the right place. That trust lead me deep into the wilderness of the Portuguese mountains, where I have settled for the summer, teaching yoga at Vale de Moses and cooking creatively scrummy and soul satisfying dishes in the kitchen.
During the winter of 2013-2014 I will be running a series of workshops and retreats in the UK and India, so watch this space.
